Melissa Marr, 49, of Gates died Nov. 14, 2022 at Santiam Hospital. She was born June 14, 1973 in Portland.
Melissa attended Aumsville Grade School and Cascade High School. She also attended Chemeketa Community College.
Melissa loved to spend time at the coast. In her free time, she loved to do arts and crafts. She was very well known for her cup tumbling.
Melissa is survived by her soulmate, Melvin Rhome; father, Jerry Marr; daughters, Angel Hundt, Crystal Hundt and Rebecca Marr; son, Nicholas Marr; grandchildren, Katelynn, Kadien, Riley and Raelynn Marr; brothers, Matthew, Michael, Mark and Marty Marr; and sisters, Arleen Coulter and Kathey Kafour.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at Mill City Seventh-day Adventist Church, 501 Ivy St. Friends and family are welcome.
