Phil Lynn Hebing, 86, died April 29, 2024.
Phil had many years of the inability to walk due to having polio as a child. He was unable to work on the property he loved so much, but he enjoyed the beauty because his children and grandchildren took good care of his dream of living on the property for almost 35 years.
The little dog, Lefty, was such a joy to Phil as he spent 19 days with Hospice Care in his home.
Phil is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, JoAnn Hebing; sons, Mark and Brad; daughter, Julie; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Mike, Dave, Max and Lauren.
Phil will be remembered by his family, his sister and sister-in-law, and their families; friends from Mill City Presbyterian Church and Santiam Canyon Community Chorus; friends from Garvalia and Eagle Rock Presbyterian Churches, Eagle Rock Elementary School, First United Methodist Church and Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii.
A celebration of life will be held in August on the family property.
